In Memoriam to Our Departed American French Genealogical Society Members

The AFGS wishes to use this page as a way to recall and honor our departed members.

Maurice P. Julien  

WOONSOCKET- Maurice P. Julien, 68, died July 7, 2008 at Landmark Medical Center surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was born May 5, 1940 in Woonsocket, RI to the late Paul G. and Estelle (Poulin) Julien.

He is survived by his brother Raymond Julien of Woonsocket and several cousins..

Maurice was a corporal in the Civil Air Patrol in 1956, a member of the AARP and a life member of the American-French Genealogical Society.

His favorite pastimes were reading, using his computer, walking, traveling and working on his vehicle.

A funeral service will be held Friday, July 11, 2008 at 9:00 am from the T. Lauzon Funeral Home, 185 Spring St., Woonsocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Calling Hours are Thursday 6-8 pm.
